Hyodo Chicken is a tiny, no-frills spot that isn’t suitable for kids or babies. Seating is cramped, ventilation is poor, and your clothes and hair will almost certainly smell like cooking oil afterward. Toilets are located outdoors, which is another drawback. The chicken itself offers unique, spicy flavors ️. We ordered the half-and-half bone-in chicken (26,000 KRW), which is a good way to sample more than one flavor. However, the kitchen looked quite messy, which was concerning. Unfortunately, we fell ill after eating here, likely due to old or dirty frying oil. Because of this, we wouldn’t return. Among Korean fried chicken chains, BHC still stands strongest, followed by Puradak, with Hyodo ranking last based on our experience. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Vegetarian options: Limited to egg salad, cabbage salad, cheese balls, fries. Dietary restrictions: Not halal but doesn't serve pork
