Went past many times and finally made a point to give it a try after seeing the FB/Instagram video of their relocation. I’ve never had “authentic” british fish and chips, so I can only compare with others I’ve had. To be kind, it was barely seasoned. There are choices of sauces available at the station, the usual chilly and ketchup, plus HP sauce and salt. My better half had the chicken and mushroom pie, which did not live up to the description in the menu. The brown sauce that came with the pie was the best thing on the table. Really went well with the chips. I had a guinness and even that was half flat and tasted diluted. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Decided to come by to check out the place before they moved to a new location. Heard a lot about this place but left disappointed. On the plus side, the haddock fish I had was fresh and moist. The batter was light and crispy. However the batter was not seasoned and was bland. Chips were not that crispy. Portion-wise it was decen but could do with more chips. For the price you are paying, there is minimum service and they gave just a small slice of lemon barely able to get two drops of juice. You can get better food and service at many other places for the same price. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $30–40 Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Ive been here twice. So I can confidently say I wont be back again. Had fish and chips from britian recently and they were nothing like this (except for the unseasoned part). Fries were oily and soggy. Batter for the fish just made you feel gelat. Wasnt fresh and crispy. Soup was ok. Not mind blowing or anything but i had to salt it. And its expensive too. I dont get the hype and why folks are willing to queue but thats my personal opinion. Also, the wait for the food itself is really long. My friend waited for almosy 40 mins and I waited for about 55 mins(they missed out my order). Thats even before the place got crowded. Singapore honestly has better (and more economical) fish and chips. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2
