Visited 조돌칼국수 for dinner and ordered the Jodol Kalguksu, seafood kalguksu, and yuzu makgeolli. Overall, this place is highly recommended. As someone who really enjoys noodle dishes, I especially loved the texture of the kalguksu noodles and the rich, refreshing broth made with 조돌. The soup had a deep flavor without feeling too heavy, which made the meal very satisfying. The seafood pancake paired perfectly with the makgeolli and was another highlight of the dinner. One thing to note is that the food can be slightly spicy for young children. It would probably be a good idea to ask for the Cheongyang chili peppers to be served separately if you are dining with kids. If you are nearby, I would strongly recommend stopping by regardless of age or nationality. It’s the kind of local restaurant that leaves a great impression after just one visit.
