ゲイランにあるDim Sum のお店。 ほぼローカルしかいないです。 シンガポールの友人におすすめされて、連れてきてもらいました。 沢山メニューがありますが、どれも美味しかったです！ 特に海老のBean Curd with Prawn Rollはおすすめです。揚げたてで本当に美味しい。 シンガポールの食事は全体的には高いですが、ここはお腹一杯食べて1人30SGDいきませんでした。 お店は綺麗とは言えませんが、それでも味はとても美味しいです。. Donkey has been coming here since younger. It's always been a Hong Kong style dim sum cafe, the kind of typical dim sum shop you'd find all over the streets in Hong Kong. I came with Donkey for supper, and it wasn't too crowded. Donkey remember it used to be incredibly crowded. But when Donkey and I arrived, it didn't seem so busy anymore. The place has been renovated, and it's much brighter and now fully air-conditioned. It was air-conditioned in the past, but it used to be a bit cramped. Now, it's more spacious, and there was plenty of sitting space. No waiting at all. The bright lighting and vibrant color scheme give it a more modern feel. It still has some traditional touches with the murals of dim sum preparation and Chinese artwork, but the rustic charm of the past is definitely less prominent. They have a huge menu with tons of dim sum to choose from. Donkey and I ordered a selection of chef-recommended dishes and some of our favorites: Signature Tofu, Crispy Radish Cake, Scallop Congee, Spare Ribs, Char Siu Cheong Fun, Chicken Feet, Honey Yuzu Tea (hot), Traditional Coffee, and a Signature Big Bun. We enjoyed all the dishes a lot. I even mentioned that the dim sum here somehow tastes better than some of the other dim sum places we've tried in Singapore. They also have a special sauce and homemade chili that goes perfectly with everything. However, there was a small hiccup. We ordered the fried carrot cake, but they accidentally gave us the fried yam cake instead. The service was great overall, and the food was good too. Even though it has a more modern look now, the essence of a good Hong Kong dim sum experience is still there. They even have a 15% discount if you pay via Grab. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're craving dim sum, especially late at night. If not for the slight mix-up with the cake, I would have given this place a full 5 stars.
