Food is good, owny is kind. Taste is more localized and less oily or heavy as opposed to the more mainland strongly spiced and flavored style. Meat quality was really good, and instant noodles were cooked really well. However, meat is charged separately (some cuts such as beef at $3/100g) which is on the pricey side (spent $17.60 for one person) Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Friendly owner with amazing food! This is my third visit, and every dish has been exceptional so far. Tried their new menu item — the braised trotters — and it’s absolutely the bomb. Incredibly tender, rich, and full of flavour. Definitely a must-try if you’re here. Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was our first visit to try the Mala Xiang Wok. Tasted good and Not too oily. Well ventilated food court. Price is reasonable. Will be back again. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
