I’ve visited 143 Seafood three times now, and it has become a reliable lunch spot. After trying several items across the menu, here is the breakdown: The Must-Order: The Fried Beef Hor Fun (Dry) is the absolute standout. It is incredibly fragrant and packed with 'wok hei.' The noodles have that perfect chewy texture that defines a great stir-fry. On my most recent visit, a colleague had the Beef Hor Fun with Gravy, which was also very good, rich, savoury, and generous with the beef slices. The Variety: I recently tried the Mee Goreng with a fried egg. It’s a solid, flavourful choice if you want something different from the Chinese-style stir-fries. The flavours are well-balanced and satisfying. The Average: The Yang Chow Fried Rice was a bit more hit-or-miss for me. The rice texture was a little too soft/mushy, lacking that distinct grain separation you want in fried rice. A Note on Eggs: Their fried eggs have a nice crispy edge, though the whites around the yolk tend to be a bit under-set. If you prefer your eggs fully cooked, you might want to let them know. Overall: A very solid 4-star neighborhood spot. It’s consistent, the service is good and quick, and while some dishes are average, the Hor Fun alone is worth the trip. I’ll definitely be back!
