The place to go where I wait for my partner to finish his shift since 2024, a place full of memories. The staffs here were very kind & give their heart into every drink and food that they make. Everything feels like a home and to my partner, this is the place where he unwind himself before and after his hectic shift at the ED. It hurts a little one day to see that there's a new little piece of paper sticked onto the glass saying "Notice of Closure" as the hospital needs to expand their department due to overwhelming inflows of patients, that's completely understandable. Chatted with the staffs there while waiting, all they could say is "like that lorh, no choice". The sorrow in their reply hurts. Yet they still give their best serving every customers with the whole of their heart while the days are counting. Deep down I hope that 1983 Coffee & Toast can make it back into CGH again, cuz your kopi beng, teh beng, and youtiao is the best in the area. Wish that the company won't just let these amazing staffs lose their job. CGH really need a good coffee place with affordable & great kopi to keep the staffs running their tiring shifts while serving its patients. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
