京都初の２Dアートカフェ！モノトーンで統一されて、かっこよくてかわいいです。 京都らしく、五重塔のイラストも描かれていますし、公衆電話やグッズなど、映えスポがたくさんあって、撮影にも夢中になって楽しめます！ メニューはあまり多くない印象ですが、お紅茶と京都発のクロッフルの専門店です。 クロッフルは、熱々でサクサクパリパリで、クロワッサン好きの私はハマってしまうおいしさでした。砂糖はめちゃくちゃかかっていますが、甘ったるさは感じず、新食感でした。 年齢層的には少し若いのかなという印象ですが、年齢関係なく、このモノトーンの世界観が好きな方にはおススメのお店です！. We stumbled upon 2D TEAROOM BAW in Nishiki Market completely by accident while searching for something to drink — and I’m so glad we did. A small black-and-white sign pointed us upstairs, so I went ahead to check it out. The moment I walked in, I knew I had to bring my mom and uncle up with me. The entire café is designed in a black-and-white, hand-drawn style (“BAW” literally stands for Black And White), and stepping inside feels like entering a living sketch. It’s unique, playful, and incredibly photogenic. They offer a variety of specialty drinks, pastries, and light café bites. After walking around all day, our drinks were refreshing and exactly what we needed. The owner was very kind, even encouraging us to take photos with their vintage phones and check out their merch. It’s a charming little gem tucked above the market — a fun break from the crowds and a great place to cool off and enjoy something delicious.
