IFC mallで歩き疲れたら上に上がって入れます。クレジットカードのギフトで利用しましたが、漢江の見える窓側の席で満足。

Excellent Modern Steakhouse Experience with a Killer Seoul View SUT – The Butcher’s Cut delivered a creative, very enjoyable meal on the 37th floor, combining modern interpretations of familiar flavors with an awesome view over Seoul. Jason, our server, was a highlight. He spoke excellent English, was friendly, engaging, and provided outstanding service throughout the meal. He was also the person who took my reservation the day before, which made the experience feel even more personal. The meal started with an absolutely fantastic sourdough, served HOT with ember-smoked butter that added just a hint of smokiness. I love hot bread, and this was honestly one of the best sourdoughs I’ve had anywhere. We skipped alcohol after a couple of weeks of heavy drinking and tried the Virginia Iced Tea and Mule mocktails instead. Both were very good. The tasting menu had plenty of highlights. The tomato tartlet featured wonderfully sweet tomato, while the steak frites was excellent, with a great combination of textures and caviar and truffle adding extra depth. The eel was sweet with a nice bite from the cheese, and the chicken taco was well seasoned on a nice corn tortilla. The pan-fried dumpling was my least favorite dish. It was essentially fried dough with beef that recreated the flavors of a beef dumpling, but I found it overly oily. For the main, we paid ₩25,000 to upgrade to 150g of Hanwoo ribeye. The beef itself was very good, but I thought it was overly covered in wine reduction. I would have preferred the sauce on the side so I could control the amount. It was also served with wasabi, which was a nice complement. Desserts included a corn pastry wrapped in smoked chocolate and a chocolate mousse with a sand-like crumble. Both were very tasty and provided a strong finish to the meal. Our total was ₩178,000, and as Hilton Honors members we received 30% off the food on a weekday, excluding drinks. With that discount, this was a pretty darn good meal for the quality, service, setting, and Hanwoo upgrade. Positives: Outstanding service from Jason, superb sourdough, creative tasting menu, quality Hanwoo, excellent mocktails, and fantastic 37th-floor Seoul views. Negatives: The dumpling was too oily for my taste, and the ribeye would have been better with the wine reduction served on the side. Recommendation: Absolutely worth trying. Between the food, Jason’s excellent service, Hilton Honors weekday discount, and that spectacular Seoul view, SUT is a must-try.
