Went to Blk 408 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10 for a simple dinner and spotted Yii G Noodle House AMK White Prawn Noodle 俞记宏茂桥白虾面. Decided to try their Signature White Prawn Noodle 招牌白虾面 — ordered both the dry and soup versions to compare. Each bowl came generously loaded with 2 big prawns, fishcake slices, prawn paste, pork lard, and crispy fried shallots. Super hearty and satisfying. The soup was nicely done — flavourful but not overly heavy or overpowering with umami. Easy to drink and well-balanced. Also a shoutout to the friendly and helpful stallholder, which made the experience even better. Ordered the number 1 item on the menu and added noodles and ingredients for $2 more. Total cost $7 Soup was filled with the freshness of the prawns and the pork lard added the additional flavor profile to the soup which boosted the overall taste better.
