Spent amazing time at this cafe the entry was some bahts which was redeemable at the counter. The coffee was amazing and hosts were sweet If you’re an aviation enthusiast—or simply someone who enjoys unique cafés—8/5 Runway Cafe is one of Phuket’s most memorable spots. Located directly beside Phuket International Airport’s runway, this café offers an incredible plane-spotting experience where aircraft pass remarkably close overhead during takeoff and landing. It’s a destination that combines great views, good coffee, and a relaxed atmosphere. The biggest highlight is undoubtedly the location. The open-air viewing deck provides an unobstructed view of the runway, making it a paradise for photographers, aviation enthusiasts, and families. Watching wide-body jets approach just above your head is an unforgettable experience, especially during peak arrival hours. Price per person: ฿200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

It was a pleasure to go there for some plane spotting and to grab a bite to eat. The staff was very friendly, and everything I ordered arrived within minutes. I highly recommend this place. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Awesome spot overlooking HKT’s runway and adjoining taxiway. Its location means you’ll see every arrival and departure to the airport. Aircraft wingtips pass by so close it feels like you can reach out and touch them! They charge an “entrance fee” of 80 THB, but they issue you with a voucher of the equivalent 80 THB to spend on drinks upstairs. Beverages are good and prices are standard. Pilots frequently wave when they pass by. Great spot and a must visit for avgeeks in Phuket! Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
