Had by far the best meal of our Japan trip and honestly one of the best meals of my life at A Kyoto last night. We were lucky to get a reservation time just 2 days in advanced, and I suspect this place will become much more popular as they only opened in Jan 2026, so book soon! It’s an omakase style dinner with very creative ingredients and presentations. Price felt very fair compared to what we would pay back home for a meal of this quality. Service is great and the dishes are spaced out with lots of time to enjoy yourselves. Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
