APIS Grill was absolutely amazing! We had a reservation for the counter, which I highly recommend as the chef preparation and grilling is nice to watch. We were told to pick 8-10 dishes for the first order with the assurance that we could order more later. Each dish was masterfully prepared and plated. The seasonings were so unique and complimented the meat or vegetable perfectly. We only ended up getting 7 of our 8 requests because they ran out of the Taiwanese beef (special for the day), however - 7 dishes was more than enough. We honestly couldn’t finish our plates as the serving size was quite generous. Service was attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was stylish and special. Honestly, this dining experience was one of my favorite due to the complex sauces, creative dishes and the visual grilling. The wine menu offered a decent selection as well. Reservations suggested (maybe even required). We also paid a reservation deposit which was deducted from our bill on the night of our dining. Cash or Line pay only in the establishment. Beautiful dining experience. I will definitely return when I visit Kaohsiung again. Price per person: $1,800–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
