鹿児島にして(失礼！)この素晴らしいワインの取り揃えは驚愕に値する。店主さんの好みか、ボルドー系のワインが多いようだから、焼酎を飲んだ後の二次会の締めの赤ワインを飲むのにお勧め！. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ¥4,000–5,000

We discovered ASAYAN【あさやん】 completely by chance on a rainy afternoon, and what started as a simple stop for a drink turned into one of the most memorable dining experiences of our trip. We actually walked in around 17:30 without realizing the place officially opens at 18:00. Despite that, the owners didn’t hesitate for a second: they welcomed us warmly and kindly, making us feel immediately at ease. That level of hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. Although ASAYAN is well known for its wine selection, we opted for beers, and this was absolutely no issue. The owners were incredibly gracious, and we ended up having a lovely, genuine conversation with them that made the experience even more special. They offered us a chicken appetizer, which turned out to be outstanding. After that first bite, we quickly realised this place was something special and decided to stay for dinner: definitely the best decision we could have made. Every dish we tried was exceptional: perfectly cooked meat, fresh and flavourful fish, and beautifully prepared vegetables. You can really feel the care and attention in every plate. The service is intentionally slow: in the best possible way. It creates the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed, quiet evening where you can truly enjoy your drink, your food, and the moment. ASAYAN isn’t just a restaurant; it’s an experience shaped by genuine kindness, thoughtful cooking, and a warm, welcoming spirit. Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
