My phone was on really low battery, so I asked if I could charge my phone at the restaurant while having lunch that day. I've been going to Astons for so many years, this is the first time i ve been refused the help to charge my phone, and Singapore is always really open to helping customers charge their phones as we pay a 10% service tax. Moreover, there were no customers in the restaurant besides me and one other guy (as evident in the pictures in this review). The manager, there were two. The one who is more boyish looking and shorter with light brown dyed hair stated there is a law that says they cannot help customers to charge phones???!! I argued and said I will be liable for the damage and also offered to pay to charge my phone since I really needed the battery power. However, the other staff named Jun Ming who was an angel lent me his personal power bank Thank you so much Jun Ming This goes to show that managers with a higher position really have no empathy towards customers these days, kindness really goes a long way, the manager should really learn from the staff named Jun Ming!
