Today I had one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. We came to this place around 5:00 PM and were enjoying our evening with friends, ordering food and drinks. We stayed for about 5 hours and spent around 3300 THB, which is a significant amount and, in my opinion, should come with at least basic respect towards guests. Important: NO ONE from the staff informed us in advance that the table was reserved or that there was any time limit. At 10:00 PM, the administrator came to our table and, in a very rude manner, told us to immediately pay the bill and leave because the table was supposedly reserved for 10:30 PM. We were simply put in front of the fact. We calmly said that we were ready to pay, but we did not want to leave immediately. In response, we were told that if we wanted to stay, we had to order shisha. This felt like pressure and manipulation. Then the situation escalated. The administrator became aggressive, raised his voice, and started speaking to us in a very disrespectful and confrontational way. At one point, he even lunged at my friend in an aggressive manner, which was completely unacceptable and frightening. When we tried to record the situation on video, his behavior became even more hostile. The most shocking part — he took our personal belongings: my bag and my friend’s bag, which contained money, phones, and personal items. This is absolutely unacceptable and a serious violation of basic safety and customer rights. We didn’t just feel disrespected — we felt unsafe. This kind of treatment in a “respectable” restaurant is completely unacceptable. If a table is reserved, guests must be informed in advance. Any issues should be handled professionally — not with pressure, aggression, and intimidation. After this experience, I strongly do not recommend this place. Be careful — you may face not only terrible service, but also aggressive and potentially dangerous behavior from the staff Price per person: ฿2,000+

I had an amazing experience at Ava Rooftop & Lounge Phuket — honestly, one of those places that keeps calling you back again and again. From the moment you arrive, the atmosphere is just perfect. The rooftop setting gives you a beautiful panoramic view, especially during sunset, which makes the whole experience feel magical and unforgettable. The mix of indoor lounge vibes and outdoor seating creates the ideal balance between comfort and energy  The music and overall vibe are on point whether you’re there to relax enjoy shisha or have a lively night with friends this place delivers The crowd is trendy, the energy is great and the whole environment feels stylish yet welcoming What really stood out for me was the food and drinks. Everything was delicious and well presented and the cocktails were refreshing and perfect for the rooftop mood Many guests also highlight the variety of food and the quality making it more than just a lounge it’s a full experience And I have to mention the staff friendly attentive and always making sure you’re comfortable That kind of service really makes a difference and adds to the overall experience Overall Ava Rooftop & Lounge Phuket is the perfect spot for a sunset evening a chill night or even a special occasion Great vibes great views, and a place I’ll definitely keep coming back to Highly recommended!
