There is now a premium kimbap restaurant in Hong Kong. Actually, I have never tried premium kimbap in Korea. Although I lived in Hong Kong and sometimes went to Korea, I didn't eat kimbap much because I ate foods I hadn't been able to eat for a while, so I didn't have time to try it. All I saw on Facebook was how high-end kimbap is these days. Looking at the thickness of Azooms kimbap and the generous amount of thinly sliced fat, it looks just like the Korean premium kimbap I saw on Facebook. The rice was thin and filling, so it was full of flavor, and the vegetables were crunchy and delicious. As the name suggests, it is prepared by Korean women, so it does not have any local taste and is just like Korean kimbap. It seems like a lot of research and effort was put into the store interior and packaging. Thanks to this, it was such a huge hit when it first opened that people had to wait in line for an hour or two to buy kimbap. There was a time in Hong Kong after My Love from the Star exploded and chicken restaurants started popping up like mushrooms. These days, in the Corona era, a lot of gimbap and side dish takeout restaurants are opening up. The popularity of chicken restaurants only lasted one season, but I hope that the kimbap restaurants that are opening now will have a long run and become one of the popular dining options in Hong Kong.
