I was surprised they have a lunch set even on Saturdays! About $130 per person for an appetiser, main, and dessert is absolutely a steal. Not to mention the wonderful view of Tai Kwun right next to it. I loved the pizza and tiramisu—though it’s not the very best you can find, there are no complaints at this price. The rump steak was okay too, considering this area’s beef has lower fat content. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had a fantastic meal at Abbraccio in Central! It’s such a cozy, authentic spot, and the food completely hit the mark. Insalata di Pollo. A surprisingly good starter. The chicken was super tender and juicy—not dry at all—and the greens were crisp and tossed in a light, refreshing dressing that really woke up the palate. Margarita. You can always judge an Italian spot by its Margarita, and they nailed it. The crust had that perfect subtle char with a great chew, topped with a balanced tomato sauce, rich mozzarella, and fresh basil. Angus Punta d'Anca (300g). The highlight of the night. This 300g Angus rump cap was seared to perfection—incredibly flavorful with a melt-in-your-mouth fat cap. It was simple yet perfectly accented with rosemary, roasted garlic, and fine extra virgin olive oil, which let the rich beefiness shine through without overpowering it. Absolutely delicious.
