This Korean owned curry ‘fast food’ chain turned out to be my favorite eatery in Seoul. My choices were very tasty, and the meal cost ~20000 KRW (less than $15 USD). This is a no frills restaurant. Basic but modern looking and clean. Multiple locations are throughout Seoul. I visited the branch in Hongdae. You submit your order at the automated kiosk (Ordering in English is possible). There are quite a few curry dish options to choose from. Once the order is submitted, a restaurant attendant assigns you a spot to sit at. Service was basic but courteous and professional. I was assigned a counter seat. It felt slightly cramped but the restaurant was not very busy at the time of my visit, so I had no issues. I ordered a combo rice curry meal with chicken katsu, which came with a small Miso soup. Prior to confirming your order, you select the spice level of your dish. As someone who likes spicy food, I selected the very spicy tier (which is a mid-tier in this restaurant). As mentioned, I really enjoyed myvery spicy meal. They don’t kid about their spice levels. Any higher and it would have been too spicy and unenjoyable. If you’re looking for an excellent and affordable curry meal, 'Abiko Curry' is the place to visit.
