Highly, highly recommended! As a Korean who has eaten countless Asian noodles over the decades, I can confidently say this place is on a whole other level. From the very first bite, I was completely blown away. It felt as if I was experiencing noodles for the very first time in my life. The side dishes are just as flawless; perfectly balanced, clean, and elegantly plated. It’s mind-blowing how they create such an extraordinary depth of flavor from such simple ingredients. It felt like watching an ordinary-looking person at a bus stop suddenly bust out a Cirque du Soleil performance right in front of you. Best of best! About Jins reopened under a new name and concept to Jinseo Kalguksu. This is, without exaggeration, the best kalguksu I’ve ever had in my life. The noodles are incredibly fresh, perfectly textured, and honestly addictive. Every bite feels comforting and deeply satisfying. The dumplings (mandu) are just as impressive, there were so juicy, flavorful, and packed with a great balance of ingredients. I’m quite sensitive to artificial or overly processed ingredients, and I often don’t feel great after eating out. But here, everything tasted clean and natural, and I felt completely fine after the meal. If you’re craving a really satisfying bowl of kalguksu and great dumplings, this place is definitely worth a visit. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Aboutjins has pivoted several months ago and no longer offers American BBQ. Now, the restaurant is called 진서칼국수 and serves 칼국수 (“knife cut noodles”) and 만두 (hand-made dumplings). I have never liked 칼국수, but I love them here — they are the best I have ever tried — so I come here regularly. Price per person: ₩10,000–20,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
