New name, new location, same great food. I was genuinely sad when Saravana Bhavan in Silom closed about a year ago. Their deep-fried idli and dosas were among my favorites. So I was delighted to discover they’ve reopened near Asok, in the former Italian restaurant. Nothing has changed where it matters. The menu is just as extensive, the food just as delicious - only the location has improved. If you’re looking for authentic South Indian cuisine, this is the place to go. A really enjoyable experience at Achyut Bhavan Bangkok. As we’re familiar with Indian cuisine, the Tamil food stood out as especially authentic, flavorful, nicely spicy, and very satisfying. The service was fast and efficient, and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The background music added a nice touch, making the overall vibe feel light and comfortable. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ฿600–800 Vegetarian options: Yes. Dietary restrictions: The staff are very accommodating and can adjust dishes to suit dietary restrictions.
