Wonderful restaurants by the sea. A bit off the beaten track which makes it very charming. The owners (and their dogs) are lovely. This was the best place for the sunset in Fisherman‘s Village. They have a very surprising wine list. Quite extensive! And the food is a Mediterranean-Asian fusion. Unfortunately we just ate and came here only for drinks. But we‘ll be back very soon. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿200–400 Vegetarian options: Yes Kid-friendliness: Sure

One of the best restaurants in Koh Samui to watch the sunset while eating dinner with delicious food. Ad Hoc is very unassuming with a small sign and is almost hidden as you pass by on the main road. It is mainly frequented by locals and when we ate on that night we were the only people there so it felt almost exclusive. The menu feels a little confused with a mix of Thai & Western meals but we chose all the local choices which were delicious. You can sit inside or outside where you can watch the sun set, listen to the waves on the beach to get a taste of island life. Some people have mentioned the dogs and they were lovely, the owner lives on the property and takes good care of them. The staff were also very friendly too. There are other options up or down the street but this one is nice, humble and not too busy or crowded. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ฿400–600
