After 8 Bar & Lounge – A Hidden Gem in Novotel Rayong Star Convention Centre** After 8 Bar & Lounge offers an exceptional experience that blends a cozy, inviting atmosphere with top-tier mixology. We had the pleasure of meeting Big, the talented mixologist who recently became the first runner-up at the Thailand Hotel Bartenders Championship 2024. His award-winning skills truly shone through in his signature cocktail, *Destiny*. The balance of flavors was absolute perfection—each sip was a delight. We explored several other cocktails on the menu, and each one had its own unique charm. Among our favorites were *ข้าวเหนียวมูล* (Sweet Sticky Rice), *Dark Apple*, *Seafood Sauce Cocktail*, *Vanilla Fizz*, *Lemongrass*, *หอมระลึก* (Memorable Scented), *Rose Tea*, and *Rayong White Sangria*. Every drink was crafted with care, and the creativity behind them was remarkable. Special mention goes to Anawin, another bartender who introduced us to some of his signature cocktails. His creations were not only delicious but also unique in flavor and presentation. In addition to the drinks, we ordered from the snack menu and tried the chicken wings and nachos—both were absolutely delicious! They made the perfect pairing with the cocktails, elevating the whole experience. The prices at After 8 are surprisingly affordable, especially when you consider the high quality of the drinks, snacks, and the luxurious setting. You'd expect to pay much more for this level of craftsmanship, but it remains refreshingly budget-friendly. What we loved most was how the bartenders took the time to explain the stories behind each cocktail, adding a personal touch to the experience. The atmosphere, attentive staff, delicious snacks, and reasonable prices make this bar a must-visit. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
