Afterword is a quiet, small chinese language bookstore in north west Mongkok, with a quiet coffee bar. One extremely well curated bookcase of English language novels (think Murakami). Very pleasant escape from the heat and humidity. Great little nook for schoolchildren to study quietly on a Sunday.

This quaint and relaxing coffee shop is located inside a bookshop on the first floor. It serves proper barista made coffee plus a variety of cakes, warm bites and croissants. Like the majority of the coffee shops in Mong Kok, the croissants are not fresh but did the job. There is wifi, usb chargers and power sockets so it’s also suitable for laptops/work. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: HK$50–100 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Standard coffeeshop vegetarian items are available
