A very decent place to have popiah! I have many pet peeves when it comes to popiah. The first is that it is not properly sliced all the way, leaving a bit of skin at the bottom unsliced, requiring some extra effort to detach your piece. The next peeve is that the popiah crumbles when you try to lift it with chopsticks. The next peeve is that the popiah is wet and soggy because the skin has absorbed gravy from the ingredients. Here, the Popiah skin is thin and properly sliced through. Popiah is wrapped tightly and does not crumble when you pick it up with chopsticks. The gravy has been properly squeezed out, and the popiah is not soggy or mushy. I needn't have worried whether Ah Long Pancake & Popiah could meet my expectations. Their well craft and wonderfully delicious popiah comes at a very reasonable price - $2 per piece. A way to improve it is to add some crunchy bits to the popiah, so that there is some crunch to every bite. Will come back for more! Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
