Apr 2026: was ok. Seems like the noodles are cooked an order at the time. Need to be patient. No wok hei but has a clean and fresh taste. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

I traveled all the way from the West to the East for Ah Ong Hokkien Mee, and the flavors did not disappoint. Every bite was packed with a rich, umami prawn broth. The prawns themselves were plump and naturally sweet, making for a delicious and well-balanced plate. The main downside was the service; they forgot my order, resulting in a frustrating 30-minute wait. While the food is fantastic, the long travel time combined with the service hiccup makes it hard to justify the cross-island trip specifically for this. Great if you’re nearby, though!
