A Masterclass in Service and Energy My New Bangkok Staple Rating: As a business owner myself, I have a deep appreciation for high-level operations and genuine customer service. I’ve been in Bangkok for one week, and out of those 7 days, I have already returned to AKA Central Eastville five times. What makes this review unique is that I just arrived from Japan, where I spent time eating at authentic Yakiniku spots. I am very up to date on what the real experience should look and taste like. Being here feels like I’m right back in Japan. They are doing a fabulous job of maintaining that standard. While I am actually staying much closer to their Central World location, I consistently go out of my way to come here because of the culture this specific team has built. It truly feels like a second home. Special thanks to management for making this all happen and all staff from the back and all the way in the front. Recommend the Platinum Course. Worst choice for buffet. Poor food quality, beef is incredibly tough and dry like paper. Raw salmon is not sashimi grade and stiff texture. Staff also poor, she was cleaning other tables with black rubber glove full of food waste on her hands but instead of asking another staff to refill my glass, she did it by herself with unwilling face. When I get my glass back, I saw sesame on my glass which nothing was there before. I’m not sure something went into ice bucket or not. Total experience was unforgettable in a bad way. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
