Incredibly mediocre food and service. However the poolside setting with lots of natural light is a fairly unique advantage. Someone ambitious could really do something with this venue, but the current restaurant seems like a mere placeholder until that transition. One of the worst restaurant around Sathorn. Whenever we go there the food was bad and even they don't care. When I ask them to change, they only laugh. Besides very unsatisfactory service level.

Dined at Aldo's Bistro for breakfast while staying at Ascott Sathorn for the night. The breakfast buffet offerings were small but extremely sufficient. The food choices include Chinese porridge with condiments, stir-fried noodles and veggies, an array of breads with cheeses and cold cuts, fresh and beautifully arranged fruits, salad leaves with Mediterranean olives and grilled vegetables, and lastly cereals and muesli with milk.Food were not at all salty but packs a punch of flavour, leaving me feeling satisfied after the meal. Ambience was lovely as well, with my seat facing the pool. Service staff were friendly and quick to help.
