Chanced upon this restaurant on TV and decided to pin it for my solo trip to Taichung. It was an incredible find! The chef used to work in Hong Kong and has over 40 years of experience roasting goose and pork belly, and you can absolutely taste that mastery in the food. What to order: • Roasted Pork Belly: Truly exceptional. The skin is super thick and incredibly crispy. The layers of fat and lean meat are perfectly balanced so it’s juicy without feeling overly greasy. • Roasted Goose: Absolutely delicious, rich, and full of flavor. • The Pickles: A brilliant addition. They are crisp and refreshing, cutting through the richness of the roast meats perfectly. If you appreciate authentic, expertly executed Cantonese roast meats, this spot is a must-visit in Taichung.
