By mere coincidence, I stayed at a small hotel in Bangkok's Samsen Nai quarter, near the Saphan Khwai station and Chatuchak market. This is a still very original Thai quarter, not eaten up yet by developers and not yet transformed as to suit Tripadvisors' taste. And again just by coincidence, I stumbled upon this very cozy restaurant with its neatly decorated terrace and a small, AC-cooled inside with maybe 4 tables. They ARE serving breakfast all day long. But it is far more than a mere breakfast place. Its lunch and dinner menu is very vast. And the quality of the dishes is EXTRAORDINARY. I have rarely eaten as well in Thailand before, and I've lived here for a while now. It's the typical family business with lovely and ever so kind family members. The owner, an elegant lady, speaks English very well and cooks herself, "cucina casalinga" as the Italians would say. Go there alone or with a very good friend. Don't bring the crowds and spoil the place, please! There are so few places like this left in Bangkok. Thank you. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Thai food is especially good. English breakfast is as you see in pictures and tasty. Orange juice was surprisingly resembling of real orange juice not like most fake stuff in thailand. Prices great. Lady seems to operate on her own when we went so maybe a little wait but the wait is worth it so support this little business and don't judge service by big commercial standards. We went back 2nd time same day because was so good and wanted to try different dishes which were even better than first time round. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
