We were excited to spend the day here based on the reviews. Unfortunately, the service just wasn’t good. There was no call button and we weren’t checked on once by a server. In fact, any time we needed to order a drink or food, we had to hunt someone down. And we were 1 group of 3 on the loungers! When we ordered our food (3 burgers and the nachos, which were delicious) they only brought out half the order after over a 30 min wait. We figured the rest of the order would be close behind. After another 15 minutes, I asked a server to check. Another 25 minutes passed and I went up to the desk to inquire. I learned they had forgotten about the other 2 burgers and would get them out soon. That took almost another hour (for 2 burgers!). I asked for a comped drink for my 2 friends and was denied. Before settling the bill I asked again and were offered a 10% discount on the 2 burgers. They should have just taken them off our bill at that point. While the view was great and we were right by the beach, the overall experience was subpar and we wished we had just opted for a more expensive location that would have done a better job. Had a wonderful dining experience at Sand Deck. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing, with stunning views and a great ambiance. The food was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout our visit. A perfect place to enjoy a memorable meal by the sea.
