Airport Core Programme Exhibition Centre is what you should see after having a meal at Amalgamate. The positive aspect of this restaurant is that the staff is well-trained. Google gives it 4.2 so you can select Amalgamate to spend a good time here.

It does not matter which chef is behind the wheels: what matters is whether the food tastes up to its price; and whether it is served in a timely manner. To our dismay it failed in both. The Pork Bleu served in the lunch menu is akin to the Japanese tonkatsu, which is utterly dry and unpleasant to chew. It would not be an exaggeration to say the Cha Chaan Teng to Amalgamate’s immediate left is very likely to be able to serve you with better tonkatsu, let alone at a staggeringly lower price. The rest of the food, to be fair, is neither good nor bad but the size of the food served is horribly inadequate - only perfect for Instagram content creation. You will have to eat extra elsewhere after you paid up a 600+ HKD bill here, which we did. Wait time for food is also found to be a dismay. The entire experience in the restaurant is 80% of “waiting-turned-griping-over-hunger” mixed with 20% of “is this what I truly signed up for”. A good place to chi chat with your friends given the wait, a questionable place to spend 600+ HKD to train your patience. Service is fine and you can feel staff’s efforts to pacify you, but there’s simply some disappointment words can’t soothe. Disappointing. Do not order the duck breast, IT WAS SO DRY. i’m better off ordering a local roasted duck. There are so many mosquitoes in the restaurant. I got bitten FIVE times on one arm. Reflected this to the staff and all they said was ‘we will deep clean tonight’ Spent 2k for 2 pax. Not worth it. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: HK$500+ Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
