Waited 45’ for take away order and when complained the cashier reluctantly returned the money without any apologies. Tried to blame me almost for not being specific it was take away even though the drinks came packed half hour before and melted in the meantime. Horrible waste of time on otherwise beautiful beach, so long it’s nowhere in vicinity of the place Price per person: ฿200–400

Shine Lay De' Cafe is the prefect location. Right in the middle part of Klong Muang Beach where the boats leave for the islands. Easy parking. As you can see from the photos, we were really hungry. And the food did the job. Pizza. Fried Rice with egg on top. Spicy seafood noodles. It was all good. Service with a smile. But the surprise for me was the design of the building. Outlined with coloured lighting, the roof has a unique arched church-like dome while the garden is dotted with works of art. It's spread out and has lots of space - including the garden where we sat and ate. Its more of a restaurant even though the name says cafe.
