I ordered 2 mutton and 2 chicken biryani, chicken soup, chicken 65 and naan for Fathers Day, on 22nd June 2026. Food was delivered on time. Food tasted ok. My mom, myself and my little nephew who is 4 shared the same mutton biryani from same box. Thank goodness, to my shock experienced into the 4th bite something sharp in my mouth, I was thinking a fish, at the sametime that shouldn't be possible. When I spit it out, it was a black metal thing, like a staple or pin. Imagine if the small would have accidentally swallowed it, and gotten hurt. Since it was me, my mood was totally off, I had to stop eating and asked both my mum and nephew to stop eating and threw away the food. I call the restaurant to explained what happened, was told sorry, that was impossible such had happened, was asked to WhatsApp. I did was that with the picture of evidence, no one got back to. After awhile I called to let know know I have done. I was told they will get to me, I also made a call through WhatsApp after 2nd round they picked, I told them looked the picture and explained what had happened, again I was apologies, "sorry "and will get to me. Till now no messages or calls from them. My biggest issue now is not about replacement for food or just a simple apologies, is about us getting choked with the metal piece going to hospital, especially the little boy would have been traumatize, everybody in the family would have been very worried. Bought Fish 65 and Utampam take way in the evening for dinner. Paid about $18++. Item 1 - Over priced for for Fish 65 ($14++), only ten small pieces. The cost is definitely costly and insufficient for family of four. The Restaurant should have indicated the numbers in the Menu. Item 2 - As for the Utampam, it's not the normal slightly slim pancake sold in other well known Vegetarian Eatery in Serangoon (Tekka). This Anandham Chettinad Restaurant has the advantage of pricing it higher due to their location whereby there are no other competitors, and food being reasonably good, they pay to have good authentic south Indian meal. Wish them well and bon appetite! Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3 Service: Takeaway Price per person: $10–20
