This traditional beef restaurant is a famous popular spot in Chiang Mai, always busy with customers. Its taste suits both Thai and Chinese people perfectly. The beef is slow-cooked super soft and tender, delicious in every bite. We usually get a beef rice bowl. You can choose beef alone, beef mixed with tendon, or all tendon if you like richer, oilier flavor. They have many other beef dishes, all tasting great. The only downside is that it’s a little expensive. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Stumbled upon Ancient Beef Thai Cuisine in Chiang Mai and it was a total vibe! We went for some beef-heavy eats and weren’t disappointed. The beef tongue was straight fire – super soft and tasty. Crab omelette was next-level fluffy with chunks of fresh crab, legit one of the best I’ve had. Beef tendon came in close, all chewy and savory in that addictive way. The shrimp with glass noodles was solid too, packed with super big prawns and slurpy noodles in a yummy broth. affordable, and perfect for a casual hang. would smash again! Recommend: 1.Beef tongue 2.Crab omelette Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I saw recommendations online and wanted to come check it out for a long time and now I’m finally here! The restaurant closes at 7pm so make sure to go there early! 5:30pm we arrived and was packed with only 1 table left. The beef was tender and delicious, I wish we had tried more varieties! I’d definitely go there again! Place is also very Chinese friendly haha. Saw a lot of signs in Chinese! Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
