Love coming here for a quick rest stop! Drinks are always refreshing and the atmosphere is nice for a quick chat! Lots of kuji and merch selections too! Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Huge ave mujica fan here! I was surprised when i saw that we were going to have mujica & mygo collabs being hosted here in Singapore, so i came over with a few of my friends to check the place out. I saw the reviews, and the cafe had a pretty bad reputation for both service and food, but I went anyway because I really liked the theme and wanted to experience it for myself (Never been to this type of cafes before). The food and drinks were on the higher end in terms of price, but the burger set i got was actually pretty decent. I even lucked out and got a coaster of my oshi Uika/Hatsune There was a malay staff who was attending to me and my friends and he was a really nice guy. I didn't manage to get his name, but i was honestly expecting average service so i was surprised. The other staff were also pretty cordial and friendly. Overall place had really great vibes, and the cafe was relatively clean. There were like 3-4 other groups of customers seated when we came. It was kinda nice seeing other fans of bandori all being in one place and enjoying their time. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If not for Haikyu, I honestly would not even have bothered coming. Sadly, the anime carried the entire visit, everything else struggled to keep up. Let us start with reservations. We made one in advance, feeling very responsible… only to be told upon arrival that it is free seating. So naturally, the question arises - what exactly was the reservation for? Decorative purposes? Luckily for us, there were enough seats for our group that day. A special mention to the tall guy with glasses at the cashier. His face was so black I honestly could not tell if I was paying, or he was paying me to be there. Only the two ladies, one making the drinks and the other handing out food were at least polite. Food... the rice ball in the udon set had a very bold and confident flavour profile: salt. Just salt. Nothing else. The udon itself? Mediocre at best - bland, limp, and utterly forgettable. Even 7-Eleven microwave food offers more emotional range. We also ordered the curry rice $21 and it came with no meat. Just rice, curry, a lot of peas and vibes - genuinely sad vibes. For the price, I expected at least a visible protein or some emotional support. The drinks were… normal. Not bad, not great, just very normal for about $9 per cup, which somehow made them feel less normal. Merchandise? Available. Necessary? Debatable. You can find similar items online, often cheaper even if you can find authentic ones. If you are coming for food, honestly, maybe no. If you are coming for drinks - optional. If you are coming for the gram - the cardboard character standees and vertical jump measuring board might give you about five minutes of usable content, depending on your pose rotation skills. Overall, Aniplus Cafe is an experience. Not necessarily a satisfying one, but certainly an educational one - a masterclass in disappointment.
