This small spot serves up some pretty fabulous, English-style Sunday roasts. We came here on the recommendation of a new English friend we met in Chiang Mai, and we’re very glad we did. We ordered two different Sunday roasts: lamb and beef. Both meats were very good, with specific kudos to the beef. To be honest we’d struggled to find tasty, tender stand-alone beef cuts in SE Asia and this roast fit the bill perfectly. The meats were accompanied by roasted potatoes and steamed veggies, two piece of superb Yorkshire pudding, and gravy boats. ‘ When you factor in the five pints of Magners cider that we enjoyed before, during and after the meal you have the makings of a perfect Sunday pub evening. Sunday Roasts: Beef 310 baht (CDN $13); Lamb 330 baht (CDN $13.75) All in (including 5 pints of cider): 2,050 baht (CDN $85) Highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
