Anri Bakery (One Bangkok) — Japanese Precision Baked Into Every Bite Be honest — I wasn’t planning to spend 834 baht at a bakery that afternoon. But the moment I walked into Anri Bakery at One Bangkok and caught that warm, buttery scent drifting through the air, the budget conversation was officially over. Everything was a takeaway run, packed up and brought home. And somehow, even after the drive back, every single item held up beautifully — which tells you something real about the quality of what they’re making here. The headliner was clearly the Aomori Apple Pie , and they offer it two ways — the original and a reduced-sugar version. I tried both, and while the original is lovely in its own right, the Toki version won me over completely. There’s something about having less sweetness in the mix that actually lets the apple shine through more clearly. You taste the fruit first, the pastry second, and the sugar somewhere quietly in the background where it belongs. It’s the kind of restraint that takes real confidence to pull off, and Anri does it effortlessly. The fact that they threw in a free piece with the order was a very welcome bonus — a small gesture that leaves a big impression. Next up, the Mini Croissant (10 pcs) — and these little things are dangerously good. Made with whole wheat dough, they carry a slightly nutty, earthy depth that your standard all-white-flour croissant simply doesn’t have. The size is just right — one proper bite, maybe two if you want to savor it — and the layers still had that satisfying pull even after sitting in the box for a while. At 119 baht for ten pieces, this might be the best value item on the menu. I could eat these every single morning without getting tired of them. Then there’s the Butterfly Pie Almond — the quiet overachiever of the box. Flaky, golden, and genuinely crispy in a way that puff pastry rarely achieves without going soggy within the hour. The almond filling was present without being heavy, and the sweetness level was dialed back just enough to make it feel elegant rather than indulgent. It’s the kind of pastry you reach for last because it looks simple, then immediately regret not eating first. A quick word on the service — genuinely impressive for a bakery counter. The staff were warm, attentive, and clearly knew their products well. Packaged everything carefully for the journey home, which might seem like a small thing, but when your pastries arrive intact and still beautiful, you appreciate the thoughtfulness behind it. Anri Bakery feels like a place built by people who genuinely care about the craft. Japanese precision, quality ingredients, and a menu edited down to things they clearly do very well. No filler, no compromise. If you’re at One Bangkok - Another choice you may have a taste or takeaway for fam!! Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿800–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

Delicious apple pie that isn’t too sweet, and with just the right amount of tanginess. There’s only a few small tables at this outlet in One Bangkok if you choose to have the pastries at the store. Meal type: Other Price per person: ฿1–200 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
