It’s official: Aokomi is my new matcha obsession. I had to see if this hyped-up spot lived up to the noise, and it absolutely does. The staff are literal angels—they walked us through the menu and gave us custom recs based on our tastes. We tried the classic iced matcha latte (bonus: oat milk is free!), the Tencha-Ori, and the matcha komi cake. Every single one was a hit. My friend hasn't stopped raving about the Tencha-Ori since we left, so a return trip is happening asap. Plus, I already have my eye on their fresh-cracked coconut matcha for the next hot day! Travel Cafe Eat Drink - Malaysia & Asia Hidden within shops in Sai Ying Pun, Hong Kong is a unique surprise in Hong Kong. This matcha cafe has its own stone mill where all Uji matcha is freshly ground, resulting in a pure and refreshing aroma. The matcha pudding is worth trying out, very fragrant and silky smooth matcha texture.

Truly freshest matcha in Hong Kong thanks to daily on-site stone milling — brighter, more complex flavours with strong umami and no bitterness or dullness common in pre-ground powders. Limited seating and food options — best as a drink-focused stop rather than a full meal.
