オールドタウンの中心部、中国廟のすぐ隣にある老舗のシーフードタイ料理レストランです。海側のテラス席に向かうにはキッチンの中を通り抜けるという面白い構造になっています。見るからにベテラン風のおばちゃんたちが調理をしている姿を見て、安心して席につくことができました。テラス席には1つだけ海の方に飛び出したテーブルがあり、3メートルほどの桟橋を歩いて席に着きました。注文したパッタイは大振りのエビが数匹入っていてモチモチした食感の麺との相性が抜群でした。老舗だけど決して高額でもなく、良いひとときが過ごせました。とはいえ、レストランからの海は両サイドの店舗に遮られて、さほど綺麗ではありません。

From the outside doesn’t look like a restaurant much so it’s easy to walk past. We were drawn to the shopfront by the beautiful hanging vines and then noticed the chalkboard that said “whole snapper” signature dish. We ordered whole snapper steamed with limes, seafood stir fry and mixed veggie stir fry. Food is excellent, not overly sauced like other places. Fish was the star, so fresh. And perfectly nailed that clean and refreshing taste that Thai herbs are known for. Service was warm lovely - we wanted something hot because the weather was so chilly, so they made us a pot of green tea off-menu. Because I like my dishes very spicy ️ but my boyfriend doesn’t, they made the dishes mild but gave me my own little pot of smashed chili to adjust the spice ️️️ We liked the food so much, we ordered takeaway dishes, since our villa is 30mins away on the other side of the island :) So if you’re walking thru lanta old town, look for this place. It’s not easy to spot (and you’ll have to walk thru the kitchen to get to the dining terrace!) but it’s worth it. Terrible Experience at Apsara restaurant. I'm still fuming about my recent visit to this restaurant in Koh Lanta. The service was abysmal, with wait times stretching up to 45 minutes for every table. And when the food finally arrived, it was just average - nothing to write home about. What really got my blood boiling was the complete lack of apologies or concern from the staff. It was as if they were doing us a favor by serving us, despite being a tourist trap that relies on one-time visitors. The rudeness was palpable, and I felt like I was imposing on them.
