Cashier female staff was great, but the female staff helping customers was very rude and demeaning for no reason. She expected customers to know all processes at Arome, and was very snappy since I was trying to use the app to get a discount. Very unpleasant experience buying a cake, and also picking it up. 1. Placing an order for 2.5 days away. She immediately said I was too late to place the order even though the cashier and previously told me my deadline was 2 hrs away. Made me felt anxious and had to rush fill the application. 2. I preciously signed up for a Arome account. But was notified that I needed to further download the app to get the discount. I was logged into the website and she made sure I felt like an idiot standing there having to download the app. 3. Getting the cake. Since it was 2024, I got an sms with purchase confirmation. I expected during pickup, I just had to say my account name for pickup. Stupid me, I was belittled by her again because I didn’t bring the physical print receipt. She said ‘how can you expect to get your cake if you don’t have any confirmation?” I took out the sms and got the cake from the cashier, without saying anything after that. Felt like I was at a $10 discount shop with such service. Will never be purchasing from this branch again. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
