The hainan chicken rice is very tasty, the sauces are very good and the chicken soup is very rich and flavourful. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $50–100

Their hainan chicken rice is worth $89 for sure. Came with a generous portion of perfectly cooked chicken, and a bowl of decent rice. The sauce that the chicken was in and the other sauces provided were excellent as well. The soup had a nice subtle chicken taste and wasn’t overpowered by salt or MSG. However, the kaya toast was too toasty. It was completely crunchy, whereas I prefer a slightly softer centre and lightly toasted outside. One piece was also a little burnt. Would definitely come back for the chicken rice though. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–150
