Surprisingly decent food! We got there around 8am and most stores are already opened. We ordered a few dishes to try and all were decent. We got a Char Koay Teow, it's surprisingly good, decent taste with some wokhey, and the prawns were big and fresh. The tomyum mama mee is standard. Taste of Koey Chap by itself is pretty weak, but the chilli sambal with it its pretty good. Also tried an interesting dried curry mee, interesting taste but nothing too groundbreaking. Nice place for some food after crossing the border. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: ฿1–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Kitty and I, along with our friends, were on a road trip in Thailand and decided to stay in Datok for a night before heading back to our country. One of my riding friends recommended this Asian Cafe, mentioning that he had tried it before. We walked to the restaurant, which is about a 15 to 20-minute walk from our hotel, the 4896 Theater Hotel. As we arrived, the cafe felt quite desolate. It was located in a very rural area, and we were the only customers in the entire place. It wasn't exactly what we were expecting, and the lack of other patrons didn't give us a very positive first impression. After placing our order, we had to wait over an hour for our food to arrive. We ordered a variety of dishes, but unfortunately, all of them were merely acceptable. The food wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable either. There was also not much service provided throughout our meal. The toilet facilities were also a bit isolated, requiring the guys to accompany the girls when they needed to use the restroom. Overall, while the cafe might have potential, our experience was underwhelming. The lack of ambiance, the long wait time, and the average food left us feeling a bit disappointed. We were hoping for a more vibrant and enjoyable dining experience, but it unfortunately didn't live up to our expectations. However, we can see that with some improvements, the cafe could be a more enjoyable destination. Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
