Ordered the burger and chips it was like a kids meal price is reasonable but size is tiny compared to other local establishments

The food here was delicious. The decor and layout was also exceptional with everything looking very modern, colourful and clean with a pool in the middle of the restaurant. Very inviting. The restaurant is very new at 3 months old and when I arrived it was empty but it was quite late and I fancied some Indian food. I ordered butter chicken with local steamed rice, poppadums (which weren't on menu) and cucumber raita. The food was delicious and I enjoyed it very much. Now I was happily going to give this place 5 stars until the bill came. I had been charged for basmati rice although I ordered local rice (more than triple the price) and also for the poppadums (which I was told were complimentary). Now I thought maybe an honest mistake so I asked to speak to the manger (who personally took my order). He stated he did not say the poppadums were complimentary but infact the sauce that came with it was which was fair enough. The part that really got me aggrevated was his response to charging me for basmati rice rather than local rice. He said that they don't sell local rice and only basmati rice even though I clearly stated local rice when I ordered and he personally took my order with no mention of this. Why is local rice even on the menu if they don't sell it?? Quite ridiculous really. At this point he could have easily redeemed himself and a 5 star rating with some basic customer service by simply apologising and adjusting the bill but instead just knocked of 20 baht of the 100 baht I felt I had been overcharged leaving me 80 baht overcharged. Hence for this reason I am giving 3 stars rather than 5. They need to learn that customer service is a major part of running a restaurant. You can't just have delicious food with no customer service skills. Why would I go back after that? The answer is simple, I wouldn't.
