Auntie Anne's in Causeway Bay is a takeaway pretzel spot along Lee Gardens Road that works well as a quick snack stop between shops. The smell alone when you walk past is enough to pull you in, and the cinnamon pretzel is the order most people gravitate toward for good reason. When the pretzels come out fresh they are soft, warm, and satisfying in the straightforward way that has made the brand a recognizable name globally. The chocolate cream cheese sticks are also worth trying if you want something slightly more indulgent alongside the classic options. Consistency is where the experience can vary. When a fresh batch is coming out the texture is exactly what you want, but pretzels that have been sitting for a while tend to dry out and lose that softness that makes them worth eating in the first place. Asking for a fresh batch before ordering is a reasonable move and worth doing if the ones on display look like they have been sitting for a while. The service has been a mixed point across visits, with some staff being warm and engaging and others less attentive to the queue. It is not a dealbreaker for a quick takeaway stop but worth keeping in mind if you are expecting a smooth and efficient experience every time. For a familiar brand doing a simple thing, it delivers well enough when everything is firing, and the location makes it a convenient and easy stop to fold into time already spent in the neighborhood. After trying this spot twice, the pretzels definitely feel a bit different from the ones in the US. They tend to be on the drier side and miss that signature soft, fluffy texture you might be hoping for. Also, if you want a fresh batch straight from the oven, be prepared for a pretty long wait. It was a little underwhelmed when compared with the US version. Meal type: Other Price per person: HK$1–50 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Aunt Annie's is an American pretzel snack specialist that has a couple branches in Hong Kong. One is situated at Mira on Nathan Road in TST and this new branch along Lee Gardens Road in Causeway Bay. Opening times are 11am to 9pm (Mon - Thurs) and 10am to 9pm (Fri - Sun). There is a bit of standing space inside by the order counter but Aunt Annie's is primarily a take-away shop. Passed by recently and was served a soft cinnamon pretzel, heavily buttered and coated with cinnamon and sugar. It was an indulgent sweet pretzel that tasted pretty good. Service was friendly and quick, prices what you expect for snack food in the area. Meal type: Other Price per person: HK$1–50 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
