Carb Heaven Alert! My New Favorite "Auntie" Spot! Hey fellow foodies! Your favorite Local Guide is back, and honestly, I should probably be at the gym, but I found this absolute TREASURE instead! If you’re looking for that authentic, "baked with love" vibe, you need to run—not walk—to this place! The "Teyze" Magic (The Pastries!) Okay, let’s talk about the star of the show: the lovely lady running the place (the "Teyze"!). Her pastries are insane. I’m talking fresh-out-of-the-oven, flaky, golden, buttery goodness. I tried a little bit of everything (don't judge me!) and literally NOTHING missed the mark. Each bite felt like a warm hug from a grandma I never knew I had! The Price is Right! For my fellow expats on a budget: THIS IS THE SPOT. The prices are super reasonable—almost too good to be true for the quality you’re getting. You can grab a whole bag of treats without crying when you see your bank statement! Service with a Smile The staff here are so polite and genuinely attentive. They treat you like family the moment you walk in. It’s so refreshing to see people who actually love what they do! The "Expat" Real Talk (A Tiny Critique!): You know I have to keep it 100% real with you guys, so here’s the "downside": The "Danger" Factor: The smell hitting you when you walk in is dangerous for your self-control. I came in for one thing and left with a giant box. My diet is officially on vacation! Seating: It’s a cozy little spot, so it can get a bit crowded! If you want to sit and enjoy your pastry, you might have to play a quick game of "musical chairs" during the morning rush. Hidden Gem Problems: It’s so local and authentic that if you’re looking for a big, flashy corporate sign, you might walk right past it. Keep your eyes peeled! Final Verdict: I am OBSESSED. First of all this comment is not for this location. Another Auntie Anne's in the Surat Thani airport. It is an international airport and mostly foreigners come here. How can you hire somebody who cannot understand English as your cassier? Careful! I am not talking about speaking! Understanding. Taking the order! I love their products but taste is not everything. Second, how can half od the menu be sold out in the middle of the day? And they are preparing and cooking their products here! Long story short, who ever manage this place should be more serious about his/her business. The place is not even registered in Google maps. What the Auntie Anne's ???
