We saw the SOFT OPENING sign, so we decided to try this place. We were the only guests there. Inside was a noisy renovation (we don’t have a problem with that) so we sat outside. The waitress was not interested in us. We were waiting about 20 min for a drink and 30 minutes for a starter. No one asked us if the food in ok, or if we needed anything. I had to go to the waitress (she was sitting with her phone on the sofa close to us, playing games) to ask for the bill. It’s a place with western prices buy the level of the service is very low. Disappointing experience. Price per person: ฿400–600 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited Ban Sabai Bar on a Thursday for their psytrance night, and it was incredible. The DJ played the best music I’ve heard on Koh Phangan, creating an unforgettable vibe. Although the crowd was small, the atmosphere was electric.
