Incredible bar with homemade gin. The best gin cocktail I’ve ever had. Intimate setting with great atmosphere. You likely need a reservation to get in. The owner and staff are professional, kind, and great at what they do. Highly recommend for a date spot. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had an excellent expierence at Bar Pillars. We arrived shortly after 7 PM and had two cocktails each. Probably the best old fashioned I have ever had! Highly highly recommend if you are in Kyoto. Just dont expect to show up with a large group - the space is small, and the environment is very quiet. Be respectful and you will have a fantastic time.
