鎌倉飲んだくれ紀行も終盤になり、4軒目に師匠に連れられて訪問したのはこちらのお店。 駅からもそれほど遠くないので最後にちょっと寄れるのがありがたい。 店内はカウンターと2人テーブルが少し。 半分くらいの埋まりで、常連客が多いようでした。 師匠にお任せでカクテルを何杯かオーダーしていただきました。 ナイスガイなマスター？に作っていただき、どのカクテルも美味しかった。 久しぶりにオーセンティックなバーに訪問しましたが、こういう雰囲気は他では得難い。. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000

Like another reviewer said, this place is truly a gem. As a solo female traveler, I sometimes feel a little nervous going out, but I felt completely at ease here from the moment I walked in. The owner is incredibly skilled and thoughtful. There is no menu, which I loved. He can make something based on your usual taste or create something new for you. I started with his signature gin fizz and later had a French 75. Both were beautifully balanced and some of the best I have had. What really stood out was the atmosphere. It is warm, calm, and inviting. I spent some time journaling, which felt so natural in this space. He’s incredibly personable and easy to talk to, and has a great sense of when to chat and when to give you space. Conversation felt easy and never forced, and I always felt comfortable. I ended up staying until close, and he kindly helped me call a taxi to get back safely. It was one of the most memorable bar experiences I have had, not just in Japan but anywhere. Bar The Tipple will definitely be my go-to next time I am in Kamakura! Price per person: ¥5,000–6,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
