Dropped by on a Sunday hoping to try their bakmi, but they only serve bakso on weekends (or at least that day). The bakso broth leans quite mild, so you’ll need the sweet soy sauce and chilli to lift the flavours. Once adjusted, it’s decent but still on the lighter side. Meatballs are alright—bouncy and satisfying. Interesting use of tau pok (tofu puffs), which are airy inside instead of the usual denser white tofu you get in Indonesia. The beehoon was slightly undercooked, giving it a firmer bite than expected. There were food leftovers thrown beside an overflowing dustbin, spilling into the surrounding soil. Quite unsightly and takes away from the overall experience. Overall, a decent bowl if you’re in the area, but manage expectations—especially if you’re coming for other items on weekends.
